Very natural looking but it doesn't sits as securely as. I need it to. ?Imagine me walking outside looking all cute with my exaggeratingly long sleek back pony tail hairstyle just to throw out some trash. ☠️.... A lady driving by rolls down her window as she playfully shouts "good morning gorgeous" a man riding his bike can't stop staring at me and my new sexy ponytail, he loses sight of where he's going and crashes into a mailbox, he goes flying into a pile leaves a few feet away. As I lower the lid to the trash pail, I feel something "loosen" at the back of my head. (( OH NO! )) Its my pony tail! It very slowly and dramatically slides off the back of my head. I reach for it hoping no one sees my itty bitty three incher... ponytail. The hair is just so silky and smooth, that when I extend my forearm behind my back to catch it, it spills through my fingers like a handful of sand. I was not able to get a hold of it, so I look down at this handful pile of hair and shout a profanity. The cute dog from across the street comes out to do his morning business, and he sees me with a pile of "questionable fur" in my hand, he runs back in with a turtle head sticking out, and now he's terrified of me thinking I eat dogs for brunch. Yes ALL THAT CAN go wrong, all because your pony tail was not secure!!! ?I will likely end up cutting off the tie that wraps around and adding a couple of snap clips or wig clips in to hold it in a little more securely. The hair is a good thickness and not too thin or exaggeratingly thick or shiny. It has a nice subtle shine and this is ideal for an easy weekend ponytail. The one and only *downfall* I have found, is that its not easy to style in if you plan on wearing it straight and its a slight challenge to make it look natural for those of us who have thin/narrow pony tails.....I wouldn't say my hair is "thin" but I definitely can not call my hair thick. So while I can pretty much wear any hairstyle, especially since my natural hair is curly, I have a good anoint of texture, so braids or twists, even "loose/sloppy" updos stay rather well, for some reason I seem to have a hard time getting this to lay In a somewhat flush to the scalp or natural manner.I think its has something to do with th weight of the pony tail and all the weight being balanced to only one "small area" of my head. Its like it continuously wants to slide down and I feel it start to sag right way. I chose this pony tail for the long, shiny and sleek pony tail hair style. Its like the part that lays on top of your natural hair is either too stiff, or its simply too long. So in my honest opinion, I think its easy to tell that I am wearing extensions of some sort.Sure it still looks cute, It *can* be done, don't get me wrong. Its just I noticed that when wearing this straight, it's a little more unforgiving than when when I add waves or curls to it.... at least when I have waves in it, and if it starts to sag it blends in a bit more and I can HOPEFULLY get away with it until I can sneak away and adjust it ?The quality of the hair is great!! Its more of a fine texture, so those of you who do not desire such a coarse texture will appreciate this type of hair.the ACTUAL pony tail itself, Is great! If you already have long silky straight hair like this and really want this more to just add thickness and maybe some volume and bounce, Im sure you will be delighted with it. Orrrrr if your hair is already thick and you simply want length, I think this will work out for you as well!My main tip would be, if you also find yourself struggling a little with getting that tight sleeked back long pony tail to sit natural looking on your head, throw in some curls or waves and also add some texture to your own hair and I think this will get you rather close to what you were originally going for.Even though I don't think *I* will be able to get the look I was hoping for with this specific pony tail, I am still beyond happy with it!
